Road Closures near D/FW Airport

Here's the release from D/FW International Airport:

DFW Airport sees road closures due to high water

Passengers advised to leave early for airport due to road flooding issues

(September 8, 2010) - DFW International Airport is advising passengers traveling to the Airport by car today to give themselves extra time to account for high water and flooding issues in several locations around the Airport.

There are road closures due to high water on some of the roads on or near the Airport grounds:
• Mid-Cities Boulevard is closed between State Highway 360 and West Airfield Drive
• Glade Road is closed between State Highway 360 and West Airfield Drive
• Royal Lane is closed from State Highway 114 to Interstate 635

The DFW Connector construction project on the north end of the Airport is experiencing some high water issues, and has announced the following road and lane closures until further notice.
• The loop ramp from Northbound International Parkway to westbound State Highway 114/121 is closed

DFW recommends that passengers leave in plenty of time to account for unforeseen traffic issues en route to the Airport.
